🏗️ Building more transformers is only part of the answer to growing grid demand.

From scaling production to delivering equipment and extending asset life, our community faces challenges that are increasingly connected.

That's why we're introducing three new feature areas at CWIEME Berlin 2027:
🏭 Anthon GmbH will be bringing its manufacturing expertise to Factory of the Future
🚛 Express Global Logistics is joining the Grid Logistics Zone to support the movement of critical equipment
🔧 Jiangxi Longtai New Materials Co. LTD is bringing its materials expertise to the Transformer Lifecycle Hub

And these are only a few names helping us bring the full transformer lifecycle to life in Berlin. More to be announced 🤝

Three new spaces bringing more of our community together.

⚡ Europe needs more transformers. But can its electrical steel supply keep pace?

The ongoing European Union steel safeguard debate raises important questions for the entire electrical manufacturing value chain.

🏭 Manufacturing competitiveness
🔩 Electrical steel availability
📈 Production costs
🔗 Supply security

As European Commission policies shape the market, what could this mean for companies like thyssenkrupp Steel?

📖 Read the full analysis:

On 18 September 2026, the European Commission introduced provisional safeguard measures on imports of grain-oriented electrical steel (GOES), a critical material used in power transformer cores.

What if we could get the entire grid supply chain working in sync? 🤝

No more siloed conversations. No more disconnect between grid requirements and manufacturing capacity.

The Grid Delivery Summit 2027 is coming to Berlin, to bring utilities, TSOs, DSOs, EPCs, data centres OEMs and suppliers together to focus on what matters: 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱, 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲.

And with access to 430+ suppliers across the CWIEME Berlin community, the conversations don't stop at the summit.
