🇩🇰 Thermosolar Hive in Denmark!

Tadeáš Nováček and Marian Hýbl represented Apis Innovation at the BIONetZero project kick-off event and at the IGNITE Life Science & Biosolutions summit.

The trip began at the Teknologisk Institut in Taastrup — training in presentation and pitching skills, and meeting innovative companies from across Europe. The next stop was Odense, where we got to know the Danish "biosolutions" ecosystem and took the opportunity to present our own. 🌱

The highlight of the trip was the IGNITE summit, where we presented the Thermosolar Hive and talked with researchers, investors, companies and potential partners. Those conversations were the most valuable part of the whole trip for us.🐝

We already have customers outside the Czech Republic. Now we want to build on that — through new partnerships, research collaborations and further technological development. Because no single company can shape the future of pollinator health on its own. It takes people willing to share knowledge, question existing solutions that don't work, and collaborate.

We travelled to Denmark with the Thermosolar Hive. We came back with new contacts, new ideas and plenty of conversations we want to follow up on.🌍

Many thanks to the BIONetZero consortium and to everyone we met in Taastrup and Odense. And thank you, Denmark, for a great few days!🙌

From Czech innovation to European collaboration.

🐝 Zagreb 2026: a week full of science, inspiration and new opportunities for the future of beekeeping.

Our colleagues Tadeáš Nováček and Marian Hýbl had the honor of presenting our research results and the Thermosolar Hive technology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb, as part of the BeSafeBeeHoney Training School "Health from Hive to Spoon." The presentation drew strong interest from experts across several European countries.

As part of the visit, we also donated a Thermosolar Hive to the university, where it will support further research and student education.

A big thank you to Prof. Ivana Tlak Gajger for the invitation, excellent organization, and inspiring discussions. We also opened talks about hosting one of the upcoming COST Action meetings in the Czech Republic — a great opportunity to showcase Czech research and innovation in bee health to the international community.

The future of beekeeping is built through international cooperation. 🌍

We're proud to share that our project Export Support for Apis Innovation was co-funded by the European Union — and we're grateful for every opportunity this support has made possible.

By attending international trade shows, we presented our Thermosolar Hive to the world and built new partnerships across the EU, US, Australia, and the UK. 🌍

🐝 Včela Ostrava 2026 – that's a wrap!
We got back Saturday evening from the largest beekeeping trade fair in the Czech Republic, and we have to say – it was fantastic! Excellent organisation, a wonderful atmosphere, and plenty of passionate beekeepers all under one roof.
We were especially happy to see our existing customers stopping by in person to share their experiences with Thermosolar Hives. And the feedback? Absolutely encouraging! Many of them were pleasantly surprised by how strong their colonies already are at this time of year. And what made us happiest? Not a single one reported losing a colony in their Thermosolar Hive over winter. That's the best testimonial we could ever ask for. 🙏
Of course, we kept busy – we closed several new sales and made some promising contacts for future collaboration. We can't wait to see what comes of it all!
We were also really glad that the programme included an exhibition dedicated to the invasive Asian Hornet (Vespa velutina). It's a topic that worries beekeepers more and more, and we're pleased to see it getting the attention it deserves, with active efforts to prevent its further spread. 🐝🚨

It’s busy at the warehouse right now. 📦🐝
We’re fine-tuning details, assembling, preparing, reorganizing, and getting everything ready for the start of the new beekeeping season so that shipping runs smoothly and without unnecessary delays.
Good news for you:
Most standard frame sizes will once again be in stock and ready for immediate dispatch.
👉 If you order without coating, we can ship right away.
👉 If you choose the coated option, please allow approximately one additional week for dispatch — we want every piece to be properly treated and prepared for long-term durability.
👉 If your specific configuration is not currently in stock, we can manufacture it for you. In that case, please get in touch as soon as possible so you can carry out chemical-free heat treatment in your new Thermosolar Hives before adding honey supers.
We’re doing our best to ensure you enter the season stress-free and equipped with high-quality gear.

From the queue outside, through the reception, past dozens of incredible exhibitors… all the way to our Thermosolar Hive stand. 🚶‍♂️✨The atmosphere was absolutely buzzing – curious beekeepers, passionate professionals and enthusiasts all gathered under one roof.
