We Bet Big on 24,00 m² in Liaoning. Here’s Why It Paid Off.
When we first looked at that empty 24,00 m² site in Liaoning, everyone asked the same question: “Isn’t that too big? How do you fill it—and more importantly, how do you make money from it?”
Our answer wasn’t more slides or bigger ball pits. It was psychology.
We realized that most family venues fail because they ignore the parent. A bored parent leaves early. An early exit means one coffee sale lost, one meal order lost, and one membership not signed.
So we built this venue backwards:
1. The Café Isn’t an Add-on—It’s the Anchor
We placed dining right next to the action zones. Parents can actually see their kids while sipping good coffee. The result? Average stay jumped from 1.5 hours to over 4 hours. That’s 3 extra hours of F&B revenue per family.
2. Role-Play = The Upsell That Feels Like a Treat
Kids beg for the role-play village (firefighters, chefs, etc.). Parents say yes because it’s “educational.” We collect a separate fee for it, and it feels natural—not like a hard sell.
3. Retention Is Our Real Profit Center
When parents feel the space was designed for them too (comfortable seating, good lighting, quality food), they don’t just come back—they bring friends. And they buy memberships. Our renewal rate is tracking way above industry average.
This isn’t just a playground. It’s a hospitality model disguised as a kids’ zone.
I’m happy to share more numbers if anyone’s curious—just drop a comment or DM me. We’re still learning every day, but this formula is working.
