The thought of hosting a double wedding initially felt overwhelming. When the mic boss, Steve Fonkam Mcxtraordinaire , entrusted me with the gargantuan responsibility of anchoring the wedding ceremony of the Gebding brothers, I paused for a brief moment — not out of fear, but out of respect for the magnitude of the task. Then, with a deep breath and a confident smile, I embraced the challenge with excitement.
Through several engaging work sessions with both couples, Gebding Gimma & Miram, and Gebding Samma & Josette, I gained a deep understanding of their individual personalities, expectations, and their shared vision for an unforgettable celebration. Each couple had a unique love story and a distinct energy. This insight allowed me to craft a tailor-made script, blending personalized activities and a communication style that beautifully reflected who they are, both individually and collectively.
When the celebration night finally arrived, what once seemed like a daunting assignment transformed into a breathtaking rollercoaster of love, laughter, elegance, and unforgettable moments. The atmosphere was electric, the joy contagious, and the unity of two couples tying the knot on the same day created a rare and magical experience.
A special shout-out to the Director General of Cameroon Customs, Mr. , whose inspiring words of wisdom reminded everyone present of the true essence of marriage ; to live in love, grow in purpose, and build a legacy grounded in commitment and faith.
