Chamonix Girls Zone is a free mountain day event hosted by volunteers to bring together and celebrate the women in the Chamonix valley!

All you need is a love for winter sports,to join a fun packed day of games, prizes. Chamonix Girls Zone is back! Posted • Sarah is the hut keeper of « La Charpoua » the oldest and smallest refuge in the mont-blanc range. Last summer gave me and the opportunity to tell this story in their Working knowledge program they describe like this: « Working knowledge is a new series of stories grounded in wild places and activism, from around the world and close to home. Hear from a wide variety of people and perspectives, for we all have much to teach and much to learn. »

Congratulations! 🤩 Posted • [30.09.2022] After nearly 3years we finished the course, did all the practice days, passed all exams, and finally got official celebration of becoming an IFMGA mountain guides.

Thanks to for the company on the course, and everyone else who was helpful or supportive.

In this interactive workshop, we will explore how we make decisions.This workshop will equip you with knowledge, a space to think and long-term tools to use in approaching decisions in a more productive and positive way.

Think of a decision you’ll have to make soon and bring an open mind and a pen to make notes.

Se blesser 5 semaines avant l'échéance, avoir des hauts et des bas, garder le moral, se concentrer sur l'objectif, douter, prendre le risque d'échouer, MAIS au final y arriver. Une réussite encore plus savoureuse !
Merci à tous ceux qui m'ont soutenu et accordé leur confiance pour ce beau challenge, @ Eddy Rochet .chmx et tous les autres !

What an incredible day out on the course today…my heart is bursting!
Ever since my first go at this race in 2018, I have been quietly exploring the idea of trying to go for ‘s 10 year old course record.
I made Kima my big objective of the summer and dedicated my of the season into preparing for it. And today that dream came true! I poured absolutely everything I had I into it today, and managed to bring the record down nearly 6 minutes.

For Adèle 🙏 Rest in peace Posted • Ton sourire, ton énergie débordante et ton enthousiasme contagieux vont terriblement nous manquer Adèle.

Je regarde et re regarde cette photo prise par F***y il y a deux mois. Elle illustre tellement bien la belle personne que tu es. Cela me fait sourire et monter les larmes aux yeux.

Mon coeur est lourd et ma tête pleine d’interrogations. Je pense à ta famille, à Léo et aux proches de la jeune femme que tu emmenais ce jour là.
Et je n’ai pas le mot pour décrire ce mélange de sentiments d’injustice, « d’inacceptance », de tristesse mais aussi de résignation.

Continuons d’avancer et de te faire briller dans nos coeurs 💫❤️

Posted • I always climbed a lot with boys because there were more lads I knew who were doing what I loved.
As I’ve come through my life I’ve been lucky in Meeting some wonderful women who I’ve climbed and skied a lot with and who have become special friends to me. Finding women who I share the mountains with has opened up a new sense of belonging to me in my passion.
Now I work as an aspirant guide I love seeing other women who work in the mountains too. And I wish there was more of us.
I’m making a collection of short interviews and photographing women mountain guides across this summer. Although there might be some common experiences every woman has a different story and I’d love to capture a small glimpse of as many of these as possible. If you know anyone who would be happy to come for a coffee or a glass of wine and chat with me please put us in touch.
