The last day of Ultramarine is upon us! Here's what's in store out and about in Yarmouth.
EARLY: Holy Trinity marks the much anticipated homecoming for Dusted, the solo project of internationally renowned artist Brian Borcherdt (Holy F, Burnt Black, Cut/Cult). The show begins with Summer Solstice Songs, a unique presentation hosted by Laurie Brown – celebrated MuchMusic broadcaster, former host of CBC Radio 2’s The Signal, founder of the podcast Pondercast – featuring a series of special guests Jessi Churchill (All Mother), Jack Murtha (Postfun), Connie Saulnier, and Marcus Webster (Burnt Black). LATER: We amp up the volume at the Yarmouth Legion with a bill featuring Truro power duo and recent winners of the Music Nova Scotia Award for Loud Recording of the Year, The Orchids, a return to the hometown stage for Mike D’Eon’s psych-rock band Fossil Cliffs, and Halifax math-rock outfit fencing. LATE: Portside Pub hosts the official afterparty featuring a DJ set by Brian Borcherdt! Surprise! 12:00am-2:00am. Free to Ultramarine pass & ticket holders.

Also, don't miss the Ultramarine Art Exhibit at the Yarmouth Waterfront Gallery featuring a series of new works by local artists inspired by Harry Thurston’s poem “Ultramarine.” The gallery is open from 10am-5pm.
