We’ve expanded our lineup with two refreshed categories designed to better reflect Manitoba’s growing innovation strengths:

• Innovation in Trade Award
Created with World Trade Centre Winnipeg ( to highlight the leaders taking Manitoba innovation to global markets.

• Research & Bioscience Innovation Award
A strengthened category recognizing research-driven breakthroughs improving health, wellness, and community impact.

Big news from North Forge. The inaugural DARE Innovation Awards, presented by Bell MTS, are set for Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada in Winnipeg. Save the date, and help us celebrate Manitoba’s boldest innovators.

Nominations are now open in nine categories at dareinnovationawards.com. We welcome nominations for both past and present innovators who are driving bold ideas, meaningful change, and lasting impact across our province.

About the DARE Innovation Awards

The DARE Innovation Awards presented by Bell MTS celebrates Manitoba’s boldest Dreamers, Achievers, Risk-takers, and Entrepreneurs. Held as part of Tech Manitoba’s MbTech Week, these inaugural awards will recognize innovation across ten distinct categories at a province-wide gala on February 24, 2026 at the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada.
