Well this post is going to be a little different. It’s was a bitter sweet day for Insanity Racing. In a very sudden change of events we loaded up the sled and gear and headed for Martock Hill Drag. Most know hill drags are not our cup of tea. We ended up going rounds and Winning the title King of the Hill with 0 losses all day. The sled ran amazing, making consistant fast passes every run.
Now for the twist, we loaded up and put in our best effort for a race we usually wouldn’t do, to help show the ropes of running an outlaw snowmobile, to the new owner. Darcy is an awesome guy with some even more awesome kids, who was looking to get into the game, and is now the proud owner. It was a great day to start off his outlaw career, and I know he’s going to keep this sled running top notch in the future.
Details on what the future holds are yet to be ironed out for Insanity Racing, but know this isn’t the end, it’s just a new chapter.🏁
A last note, Martock Hill drag, although hill drags are not our cup of tea, I will say Your crew, from organizing the event, running the event, announcing, keeping the day moving, every aspect, was one of the most organized, well run races I have seen. Hats off to the organizing team.
