I'm so excited to finally share The Long Way Round - a bold, modern quilt pattern inspired by the classic flying geese block, but with a fun twist.

The blocks aren't your typical size or shape, and when you play with colour placement, an amazing secondary pattern appears across the quilt. It's one of those quilts that makes you stop and do a double take.

This pattern uses foundation paper piecing (FPP), which makes it possible to achieve crisp points and clean geometric lines - even with intricate shapes.

The pattern includes:
