Every great Games needs a great hype crew. Ours also happened to have quills.

From cheering on athletes and exploring venues to posing for photos and making new friends everywhere he went, PACHI packed a lot of memories into one unforgettable Games weekend. Somehow, wherever the action was happening, our favourite porcupine was never too far away.

So we went through the photos and pulled together some of our favourite PACHI moments from OSG 2026.

Big smiles. Bigger personality. A whole lot of PACHI. ❤️

Thanks for the memories, PACHI. Waterloo Region loved having you along for the ride.

Ball in the circle. Batter set. Anything can happen next.

Men’s softball brought power, speed and split second reactions to the diamond as pitchers fired towards the plate, batters looked for the perfect pitch and runners pushed for every base. From hard hit balls and quick plays in the field to close calls around the bag, every inning brought another opportunity to put runs on the board.

Make the pitch. Swing for the fences. Race for home. 🥎

Sails up. Eyes on the wind. Find the fastest way forward.

Sailing brought a different kind of competition to the Games as athletes took to the water, reading the wind and adjusting their course with every change in conditions. From manoeuvring for position to finding the right line across open water, each race called for patience, precision and the confidence to make the right move at the right moment.

Catch the wind. Choose the line. Race for the finish. ⛵

Serve. Spin. React. Repeat.

Table tennis turned Conestoga College into a showcase of lightning fast reflexes as athletes traded rapid rallies across the table. Every point demanded sharp anticipation, precise placement and the ability to read spin in an instant, with competitors moving from attack to defence before the ball had barely crossed the net.

Quick hands. Fast feet. One very small ball. 🏓
