The Festival of Small Halls rolls into Baringhup Hall tomorrow night, Thursday 14 March.

With performances from Icelandic musician Svavar Knutur, folk group The Maes and Tarrengower local Grim Fawkner, this is going to be a beautiful night.

Hugely grateful for the support that Community Bank Maldon & District have given to the event and to the community in Baringhup.

Tickets are still available: festivalofsmallhalls.com/Baringhup-2024

Look at the glorious Pyramid Hill Memorial Hall! That sparkling white & brick facade barely hints at the beauty inside! Which will be amplified when The Festival of Small Halls arrives next month!

On Thursday 21 March, the hall will play host to Svavar Knutur from Iceland and Australian folk legends The Maes.

Tickets are just $10 and include supper made by the legends of the Pyramid Hill Hall Committee. There will also be a bar run by Victoria Hotel, Pyramid Hill.

Don’t miss out on this wonderful community and family-inclusive event.

Look what's coming up in Pyramid Hill in March!
Rumour has it it's not the only exciting event hitting PH that month either!

Australian sister duo Charm of Finches delivers intricate folk-pop that is simultaneously graceful and darkly bewitching.

On Sunday 15 October, we gathered at the Baringhup Hall for the last event of WHOLE LODDON LOVE.

The day featured a stack of brilliant community and live sets from Mandy Connell, Felicity Cripps Band, Jess Parker Music and The Maes, as well as a dance performance from the Castlemaine Solomon Islander community and a timely and heartfelt smoking ceremony from Uncle Rick Nelson.

Volunteers from the Baringhup Community Committee and Baringhup CFA kept us fed and Shedshaker Brewing kept us watered.

Thanks to everyone who came along and took part.

Whole Loddon Love was supported by Mount Alexander Shire Council and Loddon Shire Council, and was supported by Music Victoria's Live Music for Flood Recovery program through Creative Victoria.

On Sunday 8 October we brought a whole lot of love to the Newbridge Hotel!

It was a glorious sunny day, with music from Dan Kelly, Jess Parker Music and Nat Conlin from Goldfields Music Club. The Live Music for Flood Recovery event brought together over 150 people across the afternoon, raising funds for the Newbridge CFA.

Massive thanks to the bands, Michele & Matthew at The Newbridge Hotel, The Newbridge CFA, Newbridge CWA (how delicious were the cakes?!) and Newbridge Football Netball Club for taking part, to Shedshaker Brewing for their supportand also to Loddon Shire Council & Music Victoria.

Check out these gorgeous photos from Leonie Van Eyk!
