Mama Cathy Belanger neé Blatz would’ve been 92 today. I miss her every day. She brought so much love and joy and kindness to so many people with her tireless and elaborate home-cooked meals, exquisite watercolours, expert gardening and community service. We would have spent today’s precious sunshine at Abkhazi Gardens, her favourite venue to enjoy a special meal and the glory of the rhodos and other early spring blooms that she painted with such child-like wonder & care.

We are happy to donate our services to those in urgent need and have a couple of commercially-licensed long range EVs, one of which can tow up to 6000 lbs.

In fact, we just drove to Swift Current, SK to help a new friend get across the Rockies safely before the big storm to complete his mission and ride his electric motorbike across Canada and back without the use of fossil fuels.

Dan and his bike are doing fine and have made the safe choice to allow me to es**rt them over the Rockies through the first of this year’s winter driving conditions in our Tesla Model X 90D with Pirelli Scorpion 🦂 winter tires, all-wheel drive, and Tesla’s incomparable traction control and electric towing capacity. We will not be able to use autopilot while towing, but it will help me avoid driver fatigue en route to REVVY (Revelstoke, BC) as I prepare to take on Rogers Pass after yet another overnight snowfall.
