2026, LETS GO! Here’s our Franklin Favourite for the Month of January!

Meet production designer & visionary, Charlie Hannah!

As a freelance Production Designer & Art Director, constructs some of the city’s most visually distinct worlds. From the abstract and ethereal to the gritty and grounded, they possess a unique talent for turning out-of-the-box concepts into tangible realities.

We caught up with for a few quick-fire questions about life on set. Check out their answers below:

Q1. What’s your must-have item on set?
Charlie: Lots of pockets. This year I thrifted a vintage hunting vest with a gigantic pocket on the back of it (I think originally used to carry ducks) that I now fill with tools, craft materials and fruit sensations.

Q2. What’s your best filmmaking secret (tip or trick)?
Charlie: Never pass up the opportunity to compliment your peers. We all deserve a little pick me up :)

Q3. What’s your favourite thing you’ve watched lately, and why?
Charlie: A little indie feature called Influencers starring . A perfect slasher with a funny edge and a l***o plot line. I screamed and laughed and left the theatre thoroughly entertained.
