LunarFest is a celebration of stories, culture, and art. The Lantern City project was first launched as a visual bridging of cultures, inviting Indigenous artists to celebrate the Lunar New Year together. Each year, we learn new understandings about the land, the Indigenous Peoples of Canada, and about ourselves.

June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day. We encourage you to join us in this ongoing cultural exchange, and learn more about the diverse stories of the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities.
