Bears in Excess is thrilled to be co-presenting Drunken Noodles at the 36th Annual Inside Out 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival’s screening on May 29th at 7:00pm at the TIFF Lightbox.

Drunken Noodles follows an art student through space and time in this collection of intimate encounters ranging from the mundane to the magical.

Andan (Laith Khalifeh) finds himself alone in Brooklyn, but a clandestine meeting on a warm summer night with a delivery driver-cum-poet brings the echo of past lovers to the forefront of his mind. Set across two summers, we join Andan on an odyssey through memory as he meets the alluring men of his past, whose influence still lingers in his present. In Drunken Noodles, director Lucio Castro expertly captures the dreamlike sensuality of midsummer’s twilight. Alive with a sense of freedom and possibility, this film is as savory and sweet as its namesake.
