Out of the Blues R***e Raises Over $40,000 for CAMH

When The Official Blues Brothers R***e took over Toronto’s Phoenix Concert Theatre on February 28, the atmosphere was anything but blue.

Two high-energy sets of soul classics — including “Shout,” “Gimme Some Lovin’,” and “Soul Man” — kept the room buzzing and the auction bids climbing.

The evening raised over $40,000, with online donations continuing to come in.

Proceeds benefited Gifts of Light, a volunteer-driven program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), supporting more than 31,000 patients each year on their recovery journey.

With gratitude.
