It’s time for a change! When we started Critter Roles, we were still finding the best ways to blend our creativity and our hobbies. Now, six years later, we have found the perfect blend in our passion for D&D, props, and role play immersion! We have spent the last six years learning new skills, like resin casting and 3d printing; and perfecting old skills, like sewing and fabricating. We are so excited to show you all of the goods that we have been quietly creating over the last six months and to introduce you to our new adventure - The Venator’s Hunt!
Welcome to The Venator’s Hunt! This new name is inspired by our D&D campaign that lasted eight years - concluding this past May. D&D has been instrumental in both of our lives. Our characters in this campaign–Sabba & Vesper–have been a significant inspiration in our creativity, the skills we decided to learn (hello dice & mini-making), and in our own personal journey together. The Venator’s Hunt is inspired by Sabba & Vesper, their home of The Hunt, and by our party The Venators. We are so excited to announce this change - it feels like our business, our hobbies, and our creativity have all found the perfect home, in The Venator’s Hunt.
As we finish our transition to The Venator’s Hunt, we have loads of new geeky goods coming soon! In the last six months (when we weren’t wrangling a newborn) we have been crafting RPG class shadowboxes, quest packs, wax seals, handmade paper; and designing new cowls, dice bags, and dice trays! All of our new items and our final website edit will be live September 31, 2023. If you want to get a sneak peek - come find us at booth A333 in Artist’s Alley at Fan Expo Canada next weekend!
