There’s this boy, his name is Phillip Dodd.
I met this boy back when I started in this industry, 15 years ago. Snarky sarcastic sod at first and I liked it.
Philly, as I call him, was an owner of The Hideout, which became home to so many MCN shows, festivals, etc.
Pandemic hit, and Philly moved on to The Dive Shop with Ryan, whom I’d known just as long but not as well.
This became my new home and my bond with the boys became even stronger.
So, what I’m about to say next absolutely guts me.
Tonight is the last MCN show at The Dive Shop.
There’s more to this announcement, but I’m working on finalizing details and will have news in the next few weeks.
But for now, tonight, we say our teary goodbye to the bar I love so much and of course, my boy Philly will be there.
If you’ve been part of our beautiful community that we’ve built there, I really hope you’re able to make it out.
To the staff, Ryan, and Philly, I love you guys SO MUCH, and THANK YOU. 💙💙
