What a day!
The Piper (bagpiper) quipped that the weather was more like a Remembrance Day gig. But a little rain (a lot of rain) couldn't stop us! Despite the gnarly skies, we Porchfested anyway.
I'm sure someone took better photos than I did. Please share your favourite Porchfest moments in the comments :)
It takes some doing to make our block party happen, so here comes an overwhelming pile of thanks.
Let's start with all of the weather-wise volunteers! This is simply not possible without you, thank you.
Leslie Richardson from & Jeff Murphy from - thanks for twisting my arm and offering such tangible support this year.
Heather Currie, the leader of all the little things, and champion high fiver. Thanks for bugging me for the last few months with all the important business.
Matt Connell at - the Sound & Lights were right where they should be again this year. Thanks for the dedication to your craft.
Sean Lawrence at The Masonic Lodge, thanks for being so accommodating. The Lodge is a great place for an outdoor concert.
Chris Samure lent us the flatbed and the golf cart again this year. Two key items, sorted. Thank you.
How about the porch owners / hosts?! It wouldn't be Porchfest without porches. We invaded a handful of new homes this year, and the new route worked out great. Thank you hosts!
Let's hear it for our sponsors!!
-The Town of Smiths Falls Community Grant
-Old Home Week
-Pankow Financial Solutions
-Howard, Kelford, Dubois LLP .law
-J. Quattrochi & Co

What an awesome way to ring in the Spring! From myself and all the Artists, thank YOU for coming to Porchfest 2025!
High Five!
