Byron Olsen-Grant joined the Bridgemans Team in October 2025, quickly establishing himself as a dedicated and safety-conscious Deckhand. Representing the next generation of maritime professionals at Bridgemans, Byron is currently utilizing the company's supportive professional development environment to work toward his 60T Master Certificate.

Born and raised in Kitamaat Village and a proud member of the Haisla Nation, Byron brings a profound, lifelong respect for the water to every shift. His deep local knowledge and commitment to operational excellence make him an integral part of our crew, ensuring that our marine logistics meet the highest standards of reliability and respect for the local environment.

At Bridgemans, we value leaders who are as committed to their communities as they are to their craft. Byron exemplifies this as an Elected Part-time Haisla Councillor. When he is not on the water with our fleet, Byron is an avid outdoorsman and a dedicated mentor. He plays a vital role in the Haisla community by learning and teaching cultural traditions and wilderness skills to local youth when he can. A spirit of mentorship and stewardship that he brings to his work with Bridgemans every day.
