A sacred gathering for community, connection, and remembering who we are — together.

Join us August 15–17, 2025 at Pigeon Lake, Alberta for a weekend of soul nourishment, ceremony, and shared intention.

🎵 Danny Floyd Cole live musical performance _ MC of Sacred Theatre 🎭

Danny is a full-time musician, singer and song writer based in Spruce Grove, AB. Since launching his most recent album and music videos, he has continued to tour through BC and perform on the road in Alberta & Saskatchewan and received a nomination for a Western Canadian Music Award.

Sharing an intimate portrait of personal experience and emotions with his songs and stories, Danny always brings a heartfelt performance to every stage he visits. With over two decades of performing live original music in Alberta, and abroad, he is no stranger to sharing about life experience through song.

Today, along with a production company, he operates an intimate home recording studio, and has been expanding his understanding of sound healing and music therapy, working primarily with adults with special needs and those in recovery from addiction.

Many people are asking 'whats remembering the village about'. To put it quite simply, it's an opportunity for like-minded individuals to gather on the land and be in the practice of coming together.

We share meals, learn new skills, share in song and dance, tell stories, and remember what it's like to be together on the land.

It can be hard work; we need to consider the elements (what if it rains? What if it hails?!). We consider the other than humans (bugs? Deer? Chickens? Lamas?) and honour the unseen (how do we acknowledge our ancestors, our dead, those yet to come).

And - how do we do this in a way where children are included, where we make space for our elders. How do we support one another by sharing the load, learning what it means to be leaned upon by your neighbour, and to lean upon others.

These are skills, practices. This is culture building, or preserving, or remembering.

Will we see you there?
