Just over a week to go.

From awards being laser cut to sweatshirts being pressed, it’s incredible to see all the final pieces coming together as race day gets closer.

And yes—the sweatshirts are almost ready. If you pre-ordered one, thank you. We know how much runners have loved them over the past couple of years, and we’re excited to get them into your hands again.

Missed the pre-order? We may have a small number available at Race Package Pickup, but once they’re gone, they’re gone.

TWO WEEKS. 🤯

In just two weeks, that first bell will ring, 100 runners will begin their Backyard journey.

As we put the finishing touches on race weekend, we're also making the final tweaks to our volunteer schedule. A couple of our incredible volunteers have had to step away, which means we have just a few spots we'd love to fill.

We're looking for volunteers for:

🟢 Saturday | 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
🟢 Sunday | 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM + beyond

Can you spare four hours?

Here's the thing about volunteering at a Backyard Ultra... you come to help, but you end up becoming part of the story. Watching runners answer the bell, loop after loop, is something you don't forget.

As part of our volunteer crew, you'll receive:

Today we celebrate every mama in our Grassroots Backyard Ultra family: volunteers, crew members, racers, supporters, race directors and future legends raising the next generation along the way.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who carry so much and still keep moving forward. We’re better because you’re here.
