BC PBA Finals 2025

This is a classic matchup for Filipino Basketball Fans in the Okanagan which reminded us of the PBA Klasiko Games between Ginebra San Miguel and San Miguel Beermen, as Kelowna MY SAN and RNM Cold Hearts duked it out for the BC PBA 2025 Championship Trophy
The regular season game between these two teams was an instant classic, as RNM Cold Hearts edged out the Kelowna MY SAN by 1 point.
Fans were reintroduced to the intense atmosphere of that game, as this championship game was no different, except the stakes were higher.
RNM Cold Hearts opened the game with their streaky 3-pointers. Harvey Agustin also played tall and made easy baskets to keep the game at bay. Last year's MVP Patrick Semana was fast and streaky, making smart decisions for RNM Cold Hearts. MY SAN boys kept battling back with their aggressive drives and relentless rebounding to keep the game close. Abz Chasmhpanam, Madz Chashmpanam , Jeff Gealogo, AJ Raquino, Boss Castillo, and Alvin Hernandez's aggressiveness to make each possession count was key in keeping the game close.
RNM's Allen Silva and Karl Ancheta proved to be the X-factor for Team RNM. They kept the rhythm going for Team RNM, as the Coldhearts got a second breathe of life when these boys came off the bench.
For most of the game, RNM Cold Hearts were leading. Their fast pace was proving to be too much for Kelowna MY SAN. However, in the closing minutes of the game, Kelowna MY SAN's big man JayAr Macatungal's offensive rebounding and And-One plays helped his team regain the league. Coupled with their sturdy defense, and the hot shooting of Boss Castillo and Casey Diopita, Kelowna MY SAN was finally able to get the game out of reach, earning their right to be called the 2025 BC PBA Champions. Kelowna MY SAN wins the championship 101-92!
Kelowna MY SAN also wins $500 CaD aside from the trophy. The runner-ups RNM Cold Hearts win $300 CaD.
For his efforts, Boss Castillo was named the 2025 BC PBA finals MVP. He wins $50 CaD.
