The Homecoming Festival and North Bay Farmers' Market are wrapping up at Lee Park! Thanks to Fur Harvesters, MNRs Logging Museum, North Bay Fire and Emergency Services, and all the vendors and booths who made it such a fun day in the hot sun!

Thank you to the Uk4lei Group and the faith groups who gathered and celebrated at the bandshell this afternoon.

To wrap up the North Bay Homecoming Festival weekend join us for a 🌽 corn roast at the Rotary Picnic Pavilian near the Marina followed by the Movie Moana 2 at 8pm at the Bandshell, presented by the City of North Bay.

It was a thrill for us as organizers to see friends gather, to hear the laughter of children, watch grandparents, parents and children explore science, history and games together as a family experience.

As part of our celebration for the Homecoming Festival, we will be hosting a reading with Yvonne Morin for "Jay Saves the Bay" enjoy this event plus free museum admission sponsored by RBC Sunday August 3rd at 2pm.

💫✨ Multi-Faith Communities Ceremony ✨💫 Sunday Aug 3rd - 1 pm. Kiwanis Bandstand at the Waterfront

Faith communities of North Bay will come together to celebrate the city where they worship and share their diverse beliefs and values. We are honoured to welcome participation from Indigenous Spirituality through the North Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre, alongside Christian churches including Anglican, Roman Catholic, Salvation Army, and the United Church of Canada. The Jewish community will be represented by the Sons of Jacob Synagogue, and we also anticipate welcoming voices from the Muslim, Hindu, and Sikh communities.

All who love to sing are warmly invited to gather at the bandstand Sunday Aug 3rd at 1 PM to join an informal mass choir singing “Morning Has Broken.” 🎶

Come celebrate unity in diversity with music, community, and shared spirit. 💫

Join us for an outdoor screening of Disney’s Moana 2 on Sunday at the Kiwanis Bandshell. The movie will begin at 8:30 p.m. and is free to attend. This screening is part of a weekend full of activities for North Bay’s Centennial and Homecoming Festival, including live music, family events, food vendors, and more taking place this weekend. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a family-friendly evening by the waterfront.

Thanks to all the vendors, exhibitors, community groups, and businesses whom are Day 2 of the Homecoming Festival so much fun!!! Everyone is welcome to join us for Day 3 Sunday with more fun to be had! Marten River Logging Museum shares artifacts from our past. The Farmers Market is holding a special Sunday market 10 am - 230 in Lee Park. A multi faith celebration of North Bay's 100th Anniversary begins at 2 at the bandstand...wrapping up the Festival is North Bay's famous Uke4ia Ukelele Club performance at 4 and a free corn roast at 5-7pm.
