☀️☀️ thanks for the fun Saturday Mara! ☀️☀️ today was an amazing success with lots of people coming through the hall to enjoy our first Neighbour Day.

Thank you to all our volunteers, businesses and organizations today! We couldn’t have done it without you.

Special thanks to Louise Bourke and Todd Couch from the MM&AA.

It was pleasure to have the Mara Community Church and Rivershore Trees join us as well with a fun activity and walk down memory lane with an oldie photo album.

Chicken plop bingo by Ian was a fun memorable activity! Who knew you could pay to watch a chicken p**p?

The gravel Bairds supplied for our parking lot resurfacing was a popular spot for all the kiddos to play throughout the day!

And today was the launch of the Farms to Families Market Stand! Wild Flight Farm once again is our main sponsor for this community initiative ❤️

The MM&AA Annual General Meeting is Wednesday May 13th at the Mara Community Hall @ 6:30pm.

For the position of president, Jeff Robinson has allowed his name to stand for re-election. Jesse Bourke has also allowed his name to stand for the role.

Sharon Trott has let her name stand for the position of vice president.

A quick reminder that all voting must be made in person and that there is only one vote per household.

NEW*** Nominate a fellow MM&AA member for the new the "Super Duper" volunteer award (name TBD). This award is a great way to recognize people in our community that go above and beyond as a volunteer. Please email [email protected] or contact any Board Member to nominate.

Big hands, small hands, MANY hands! And a few pieces of equipment 😉 transformed the Mara Hall today 👏🏻 it looks amazing!

Huge thank you to our 16 adults and 4 little volunteers who showed up, we are so grateful. It was so great to see so many people out working together, way to go Mara!
