A celebration of Irish music, culture and heritage in the heart of Wortley Village in London, Ontario.

The first annual Forest City Irish Fest will be September 19, 2026 ☘️ The inaugural Forest City Irish Fest will take place on September 19th, 2026 on the Green in Wortley Village. It will showcase Irish traditional music, singing, dancing, storytelling, sports and much more.

On September 19th, the heart of Old South will transform into an Irish village during the inaugural Forest City Irish Fest! 🇮🇪

The Green will be our main venue from 10:00am-6:00pm on Saturday. 🌳

This includes…

• Four stages
• Over thirty performers
• Seventy vendors
• A kid zone with bouncy castles
• A beer garden
• A variety of fare
• An array of wolfhounds
• A heritage corner
• Interactive hurling activities
• A cannon (yes, a cannon)
• And more (there is always more)

This list is just scratching the surface of what you’ll experience during the Forest City Irish Fest! 🎉

Join the FCIF on June 6th at the German Canadian Club London biergarten for another fundraiser of exceptional music, beer, and food. 🎶 🍻 🍟

This event is outdoors and family friendly; lots of room for kids to play! 🌞 ⚽️

Our star performer, Trevor Lewington, is the lead singer/songwriter of the tasty band, Enter the Haggis. Also, his debut solo album released in 2016, Lion of Grace, was a delectable delight! 🎸

So, come down to the German-Canadian Club on June 6th and enjoy a sneaky peeky of what’s to come at the Forest City Irish Fest! 🌳 🇮🇪

Forest City Irish Fest presents Strathroy Mini Irish Fest!

The Forest City Irish Fest, the most anticipated Irish event in London, is bringing a mini taste of Irish culture to downtown Strathroy for one night only! 🎉

On July 11th, wander through the streets of Strathroy and choose your own Irish adventure...

Dublin balladeer Alan Lynch kicks off festivities at the Cookie Bar, with free entry from 5pm.

Then, at 7pm, Canadian Folk Music Award winners Maggie's Wake bring rich harmonies and thoughtful songwriting to Strathroy United Church.

Finally, at 9pm, local traditional Irish musicians Johnny Hewerdine and Rachel Boyd showcase the driving rhythm and deep tradition of County Clare in Ireland in a free session at the Rusty Wrench.

On September 19, 2026, Wortley Village will transform into the ultimate Irish cultural experience. From world-class music, dancing, storytelling, seisiúns, and family-friendly interactive activities, there truly is something for everyone.

We are excited to announce that after 27 years, the London Irish Folk Club and the Forest City Irish Fest are relaunching the Forest City Comhaltas!

Ceol • Rince • An Ghaeilge • Imeachtaí Pobail

This will be your hub for Irish culture in London, Ontario.

Moving forward, all non-festival events and activities will be posted on the Forest City Comhaltas page, Instagram page, and website (www.forestcitycomhaltas.com). Check it out and follow!

But don't go anywhere! All festival related posts will remain here.

What is the Comhaltas?

The Forest City Comhaltas is an organisation that will provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to learn and participate in the traditions of Ireland that have been passed down through the generations.

Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann is the largest group involved in the preservation and promotion of Irish traditional music.

They’re a non-profit cultural movement with hundreds of local branches throughout Ireland and around the world.

A community and volunteer based organisation, Comhaltas has been providing opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds, including youth opportunities, to enjoy and participate in the traditions of Ireland since 1951.

We look forward to seeing you at our next event.

Join us every Tuesday evening, as local traditional Irish musicians gather in the back The Scot's Corner for a lash of tunes, pints, and craic. 🎶 🎻 🍻

Satisfy your toe-tapping loins and thirsty ears; music begins at 7:00pm and ends when a second concertina shows up 👯‍♀️

What is a traditional Irish session? 🇮🇪

A traditional Irish session (or seisiún) is an informal gathering of musicians playing Irish traditional music together in a relaxed, often social setting like a pub or home. Musicians, usually seated in a circle, play jigs, reels, and other tunes on instruments such as fiddles, flutes, pipes, banjos, and concertinas. 🎶
