A special evening at Kinmount Legion Branch 441! ❤️

Last night we celebrated an Ontario government grant through the Ontario Trillium Foundation supporting replacement windows and doors and a new accessible ramp for our branch. These improvements help keep our Legion a safe, welcoming place for veterans, members and our community.

Thank you to MPP Laurie Scott, OTF representative Klara Oyler, our Legion representatives and everyone who joined us last night! We’re grateful for this support and for everyone working behind the scenes to make these improvements possible! 🌺

🌺 Exciting News for Branch 441! 🌺

We’re excited to share some wonderful news about improvements happening at the Kinmount Legion!

Thanks to funding from the Ontario government through the Ontario Trillium Foundation, we’re making some much-needed upgrades to our building. These improvements are an important step toward making our Legion more accessible, welcoming, and comfortable for everyone who visits.

Our Legion is more than just a building. It’s a place where veterans, families, friends, and community members come together, and we’re grateful to see continued investment in its future. ❤️

We look forward to celebrating this milestone on Friday, October 30th, alongside representatives from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and our community.

Please see the attached media advisory for more information!

❤️ The 2026 Poppy Campaign Begins Today! ❤️

Each year, the poppy serves as a symbol of remembrance, honouring the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today.

Throughout the campaign, leading up to Remembrance Day on November 11th, we encourage everyone in our community to proudly wear a poppy and take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by our Veterans and those who continue to serve.

❤️ Your donations make a difference! Funds raised through the Poppy Campaign are held in trust and used to support Veterans and their families, along with other initiatives permitted under the Legion’s Poppy Fund guidelines.

Whether you make a donation, wear a poppy, or take the time to teach younger generations about the importance of remembrance, every act helps keep their legacy alive.

From all of us at the Kinmount Legion, thank you for your continued generosity and support. ❤️

We Will Remember Them. 🌺
