On behalf of the Eastern Ontario Law Enforcement Invitational, our heartfelt condolences go out to the family, friends, and colleagues of Ontario Provincial Police Sergeant Brandon Malcolm who was killed today in the line of duty, serving his community.
Your service and sacrifice will not be forgotten, Sgt Malcolm!

It is with profound sadness that I regretfully confirm that OPP Sergeant Brandon Malcolm was killed in the line of duty along Highway 401 in Cobourg this evening. We honour his service and bravery as we grieve this tremendous loss. We extend our deepest condolences and mourn alongside his loved ones and OPP colleagues across the province.

🙋‍♂️ Volunteers Needed – Help Us Make a Difference! ⛳

We’re looking for a few volunteers to help organize and run the Eastern Ontario Law Enforcement Invitational golf tournament on July 29th at Smuggler's Glen Golf Course in support of Ned's Wish.

We could use help with things like:
• Sponsorship outreach
• Prize and donation coordination
• Registration and check-in on tournament day
• Hole contests and player assistance
• General event setup and wrap-up

You don’t need to be in law enforcement to help — friends, family, and community members are all welcome. It’s a great way to support a meaningful cause and be part of a fun community event.

We’re proud to announce that the 2026 Eastern Ontario Law Enforcement Invitational will be held in support of Ned's Wish .

Ned’s Wish is a registered Canadian charity supporting retired law enforcement and Canadian Armed Forces K-9 service dogs, and we are beyond honoured to help contribute to their mission through this year’s tournament.
