The volunteers at Kemptville Live Music Festival would like to thank you once again for an amazing event in 2024. We were pleased once again to provide a 100% Canadian lineup with a taste of different genres for all of our loyal fans. Since 2015 it has been our extreme pleasure to present the best of the best live music that Canada has to offer and beyond right here in your own backyard.

Typically we would be ramping up to set the stage for the next annual Festival and begin announcements to launch tickets sales. This year looks different for our volunteers and it is with heavy hearts that we must announce that the Festival will be put on pause for 2025. We will continue to work toward a 2026 event and hope to bring back everything about the event that you have come to trust and enjoy.

We will miss our fans, artists, sponsors, subcontractors and our volunteer family this July, 2025. We hope to see you all back in 2026! Take care!

We know we have the best volunteers around, but we also want to make sure they know how amazing we think they are. So every year, we like to throw together a little appreciation party for all the pride, hard work, extra shifts, and everything else they put into making our festival what it is today.

Please put your hands together for a great big round of applause for what this gentleman and true local business owner has done for North Grenville.

Bob has been the sound that suddenly appears for free at many of your local events, the mentorship of many young (and not so young) artists, and the access to world class entertainment at your doorstep.

Best of best wishes for a sweet retirement to enjoy the many other passions you have in life.

This week marks the end of an era with the closure of Class Axe Guitars and the retirement of owner Bob Besharah. For those who aren’t aware, Class Axe Guitars was a top destination for guitar enthusiasts, musicians and rookies alike. People travelled far and wide to get to know the impressive instruments in Bob’s store, talk with him and his staff, and often left with a new friendship. In addition to guitar sales, many hundreds of students honed their skills at his music school, shaping their futures as budding musicians.

Top notch audio expertise and cutting edge equipment offered a lively soundtrack to countless events in the community. But, in particular, as the founder of Kemptville Live Music Festival, Bob fundamentally changed the cultural landscape of North Grenville. Year after year, the Festival has brought thousands of folks together to enjoy internationally renowned musical acts in what many musicians would still consider a very small town. 😉 What an accomplishment to have brought so much joy to local music lovers & beyond.

There is no doubt that Bob has made his mark in more ways than one, and we would like to express our sincere thanks for his countless contributions to North Grenville. A passion for music may have fuelled him, but a generosity of spirit led him to giving back time and again. We wish him a VERY happy retirement filled with lots of *music* of course - and a much deserved rest!

For those that may not know we at Kemptville Live Music Festival are always bragging about how amazing our volunteers are and it's true, they really are amazing but did you know that Kemptville live is also 100% volunteer run? Everyone from the barricades to the festival organizer we are all volunteers.

So this may come off as a bit self serving when we do this but we'd like to take a moment to appreciate all the hard work everyone has done putting on this 2024 festival, we couldn't have done it without you.

As you know for our Warm Up Wednesday show we asked the community to give generously in support of Kemptville Salvation Army and did you ever!

All the patrons have gone home, the volunteers have said their "see you next year" to each other and we here at Kemptville Live Music Festival are starting to look back at all the great moments and hopefully, the great memories you all had this year.

As the festival nears its inevitable conclusion Kemptville Live Music Festival would like to say a big thank you to all the first responders we've had on site making sure everyone here had a fun and safe experience. We're pretty sure they had a pretty good time being here too.

Every year we have a camper's dress-up contest and this year was no different. This year's theme was "Christmas in July" and the campers came out swinging. Congratulations to Mall Santas on Vacation for winning the 2024 contest.
