HALIFAX HIGHLAND GAMES POSTPONED TO 2026!

You know what they say about "best laid plans". We have been full steam ahead with our plans for the Highland Games. Alas, in the last 6 weeks, we've lost several key members of our organization. No fault of theirs, no fault of ours - but unfortunately, it's just not possible for us to pull off this big event without them. And in this late stage, there isn't the time to find such valuable replacements. The board has voted to make the difficult decision to postpone to 2026. Luckily, a lot of groundwork is already done, so we'll hopefully have a smoother sail into next year. We are all dedicated to bringing these Games back next year, so please stay tuned for details on the 2026 Halifax Highland Games & Scottish Festival!

Barb was a prominent member in the pipe band community on the East Coast, and was a force to be reckoned with! A real trail blazer. Our condolences to Barb's family and friends. She'll be missed.

We'll be having our next meeting this Thursday, November 7th at 7pm at the Sackville Masonic Hall - 57 Gloria Avenue. We're hoping to nail down an executive at that time, and ALL POSITIONS are available! Please come if you'd like to get involved with the Highland Games, and share to any who might like to as well!
