Eddie believes that artists should be able to focus on writing, rehearsing and performing rather than spending their time on the booking side of things. Roots & soul music promotions have been going strong for 12 years now, their motto being "keeping live music alive" The focus on the independent artists, new artists and under-recognized artists, giving them a stage to showcase their talent. Living Roots Music festival is celebrating year 10 in 2025, this is a multi genre, multi venue urban festival in downtown Fredericton. utilizing the regular venues as well as alternative local businesses as venues to help showcase their space as well as some wonderful talent from all over the world. They often pair up an established artist with a new artist to create a great space for collaborating, learning and showcase. Living Roots always incorporates literature and live art into the fest as well. Their motto is "Community, inclusion, artistry & friends"
