Have you ever taken the time to immerse yourself in the stillness of a cave?

Back in August, our Sound Experience at Marble Arch Caves began with a beautiful journey by boat into the underground world.

As we gently travelled through the water, there was so little sound around us. Just the occasional drip of water, tiny sounds echoing through the cave, and the extraordinary shapes and textures of the rock surrounding us.

There's something quite magical about being in a place where even the smallest sounds become noticeable.

A little glimpse of that journey for you to enjoy.

Interested in sound baths, sound healing or sound therapy? Would you like to explore working with sound yourself?

Perhaps you've experienced a sound bath and wondered what it might be like to play the instruments yourself, or you're already working in yoga, meditation, wellbeing or a complementary practice and would like to explore bringing sound into your work.

My Level 1 Sound for Wellbeing Training is a practical introduction to working with sound, where we'll explore different instruments, listening, playing and how we each experience and respond to sound.

With small groups and plenty of hands-on exploration, it's an opportunity to begin developing your own understanding, confidence and awareness when working with sound.

No previous musical experience is needed.

For those interested in progressing towards facilitating sound baths or other group sound experiences, further training is available through my Working with Groups CPD.

Certificate upon completion.

An immersive sound experience beneath the dome at Armagh Planetarium

Experience the Planetarium in a completely different way.

On Sunday 20 September, settle into a reclining seat beneath the dome for an immersive journey through sound, visuals and space.

A specially created soundscape moves through the Planetarium’s surround sound system, while elements of Tessa Ann’s signature Sound Spa Experience are performed live beneath the dome using singing bowls, gongs, drums, percussion and voice.

As sound moves around the space and full-dome visuals unfold overhead, live performance, immersive audio and the Planetarium environment come together to create an experience that surrounds you.

This isn’t a traditional planetarium show. It’s a slower, more spacious experience created specifically for this extraordinary environment — an opportunity to pause, listen and experience the night sky from a different perspective.

Come earlier and make more of your visit by exploring the Planetarium exhibitions and visiting the café before taking your seat beneath the dome.
