I volunteer as a board member because I care deeply about the well-being of animals and want to give back to the community and supporting the Lakeland Humane Society aligns with my values. While direct animal care is important, serving on the board allows me to help shape the organization's future, support strategic decisions, support fundraisers and community outreach efforts, and ensure the rescue can continue creating positive outcomes for animals for years to come.
