New this year, we are adding a youth price of $30 for our running series. Youth 18 & under can run either or both races and get a t-shirt for this price. Just select the youth option under race distance when signing up. We would love to have more youth participate in the events. Come run Clyburn and Franey with us!

The 2026 Highlands Trail Series registration is live! This year we will again have two races on one weekend:

June 20, 3pm: Clyburn Valley Trail, 9km, 130m elevation gain
June 21, 9am: Franey Trail, 13km, 480m elevation gain

Come for both, get cool shirts, eat some croissants!

Hello folks, we are announcing tentative dates and trails for our 2026 Cape Breton Highlands trail running series while awaiting final approval from the park. The plan for 2026 is:

-June 20th: Clyburn Valley Trail Race, approximately 8.5km (afternoon)

-June 21st: Franey Trail Race, approximately 13km, 400m+ elevation gain (morning)

The Cape Breton Highlands National Park has reserved a block of campsites for us at Ingonish Campground, and you will be able to request one with your registration.

Watch for registration to be posted in the coming weeks!
