Over the last 3 years we have seen some of the best drivers from Ontario and Quebec battle it out for cash, glory, and the title of Canadian Drift Series Pro or Street Class Champion! 🏆

This year, we're changing things up.

This season with some new limitations, driver skills and setup will matter more than ever. And some of these former champions from both classes may have to battle it out for their chance to take home a 235 Cup!

Will one of our former champs come out on top once again? Or will a new contender be taking home a cup this year?!

Let us know in the comments! 👇

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT for 2026‼️📣
This year we are stepping away from our traditional street and pro class competition to bring you something new and refreshing to the drift competition scene

The Canadian Drift Series 235 Cup will consolidate the two classes by limiting only tire size. We wanted to open competition to those with cars which fell somewhere in between the two classes, additionally, reducing competitor cost by utilizing a smaller section width tire.

Main changes and what you need to know:
1. We are doing away with series points, and instead running two separate competition events that will be scored individually
2. Event prize pool will be increased vs previous year
3. Treadwear is unlimited, only limited to max width 235mm
4. Engine power is unrestricted
5. No cage is required, but we are highly recommending you have one. If you’re serious about competing, it only makes sense to make the investment into your safety.

We hope you’re as excited as us for the 2026 CDS 235 Cup. If you’ve ever wanted to bully the faster cars in your slower car, now is your time 🏁🏁

Stay tuned for more information and 2026 event schedule dropping soon!

See you on the track! 🍁

This is it! The 2025 Competition Finale is here 🤘who will be the King of the North (course)?

The Canadian Drift Series street and pro class champion will be crowned at this event so don’t miss out on your chance to win extra championship prizes if you’re high up in the standings.

We are running the North Course combo layout for Street and Pro. The street layout is a tight and technical course designed to challenge even the seasoned driver. Close tandems are expected here in order to do well!

The Pro course involves a high speed entry, carrying tons of speed throughout the remainder of the course. Keeping close proximity in chase here is a real challenge.

Head over to the website to register for Round 3, registration will be opened tonight. If you’ve already applied for Round 1 or 2, you do not need to fill out an application, but please message us with your pit crew names.

/ .toronto will be posted up on South Course throughout the day, so open drift is not available for this round. Stay tuned for more details on our evening drift collab 😎

Reminder to all drivers! 🍁

This Sunday July 20th we will be running the "South Course layout" at for the Street and Pro class competition!

This is the layout you are all familiar with, that runs along the wall, not the back track area or "North Course" as we call it! We will be running Round 3 back there this season!

It is also our most spectator friendly layout, so be sure to tell your friends to come out and support their favorite drivers for $30 cash at the gate!

The North course will be open for Open Drifting and drivers eliminated from comp starting at 10AM. Open drift drivers can participate in the practice session on South course until that time.

Here is the official track map for competition at Varney this weekend. We are changing it up from last year’s 1 lap format to a 2 lap format (it’s more like 1 and a half laps). From the judges perspective, we felt the run time was too short. The longer run time will give more opportunity to clearly determine a winner.
Pro and Street class are using the same clipping points and zones, however, the entry into the bowl will only be judged for Pro class. Street class scoring will only begin AFTER the first inner clip.(You will not lose points or get a zero if you drive straight all the way to the first inner clip, although it is encouraged to be in drift before the latest initiate point)

Pro class scoring begins the moment you enter the bowl (you can initiate before or after the jump, as long as it’s before the latest initiation point)

We will go over more judging criteria during the drivers meeting.

Good luck and see you all on Sunday! Drivers meeting is at 11:30AM
