2026 CCA SMALL RODEO OF THE YEAR!

Thanks Lane LaPlante and Dom St Amand for the video!

10/23/2026

After 52 years, the Carnduff rodeo made its mark on the Canadian Cowboys Association by earning the winning vote of “SMALL RODEO OF THE YEAR” against 17 other rodeos.

Small rodeo is considered a rodeo that has $1499 per event added money and below, while large rodeo is $1500 per event added money and up.

These “rodeo of the year” awards are voted on by contestants of the Canadian cowboys association at the end of the year, which makes this award so special. We couldn’t be more proud to receive this award the first year we have hosted a CCA rodeo and we hope to continue to build our rodeo up - starting with next year. Find us back July 3 & 4, 2027!

Huge thank you to everyone who made our first rodeo possible from sponsors to volunteers to personnel. We are excited to partner with Groundbreaking Rodeo again next year to bring the best stock and team around.

Thank you to all of the contestants and personnel who voted for Carnduff as your favorite “small” rodeo in 2026! Hope to see you back next year!

Stay tuned for the official poster of 2027 and further details to come!!

KDL Vac Ltd. Saving the day and pumping off our arena. Last week we had to postpone our little britches rodeo due to the huge rain fall. No one likes rodeoing in the mud, but kids under 10 especially don’t.

Thanks to KDL we are going to have great ground for the little britches rodeo this Sunday at 10 AM!

We did it! 🎉 The return of Carnduff rodeo after 52 years is officially in the books.

Our committee could not be prouder of what we built from the ground up. We had a dream, we worked together, and we pulled off a bang-up rodeo, tradeshow, and cabaret.

There are so many people to thank for making this happen:

🤍 Our sponsors — none of this happens without you!!!
🐴 Our stock contractor, Groundbreaking Rodeo.
🎤 All the CCA personnel, plus announcer Dom St.Amand and music man Dustin Becker
🙌 The volunteers who showed up and helped us pull this off
🛍️ Our tradeshow and food vendors who kept everyone fed, and the fire department for the pancake breakfast
🤠 The contestants for showing up — and for drinking a lot at the cabaret😉
👏 The spectators who filled our stands!!

52 years in the making. Here's to many more. Share your fav photo from your camera roll at the rodeo below, we would love to see!

We are ready to kick off the Carnduff CCA Rodeo at 6 PM tonight, featuring a full lineup of rodeo events from bull riding to roping and barrel racing and everything in between.

Food trucks start at 11:30 am today and the tradeshow, live music and petting zoo start at 1 PM!

B**r gardens open at 5:00 PM today and noon tomorrow!

Come early to get a good parking spot as there’s no spectator parking within the grounds. Rodeo contestant parking is the north east entrance, spectators cannot come in that gate.

Can’t wait to see you all there!

Seniors, we got you covered! 4 PM - 6 PM we will have a side by side patrolling the parking areas and giving rides to the stands if you are unable to walk that far!
