The 8th Annual Pure West Art & Artifact Auction was one for the books. Record-breaking consignments, new sale highs, and the largest crowd we’ve ever welcomed – this year didn’t just meet the bar, it raised it.
Hosted by Paul Brandt in support of ( ), the afternoon blended a perfect measure of culture and cause, featuring a curated live auction of standout Western art, live performance by Paul Brandt, West-inspired cocktails and canapés and an unmistakable Alberta flair.
We want to thank and Deane House Restaurant & Garden for partnering with us to present Buffalo Bones.
🏵️Together, we raised over $60,000 for 🏵️
We sold 92 lots, with only 7 lots passed out.
Over 40% of the lots sold above the estimated values printed in the catalogue.
Our high seller was Lot #40, GETTING THEM BACK, an oil painting by Jeff Weir which sold for $22,800.
Our reserve high seller was a donated charity piece. Lot #49, CAPTURED, a 2000 oil and gold leaf painting by Paul Van Ginkel sold for $21,600.
