We host plenty of antique tractor pulls during the show, but for many competitors, their passion started years earlier - gripping the wheel in their very first pedal tractor pull as a kid!

This year's feature car is a 1955 Ford Thunderbird, owned by George Oldreive from Auburn and Bond Head, Ontario. He has been building and restoring cars since 11 years of age. His uncle brought one of these back from California in 1964 at a cost of $2,000.00. George has had this featured car for almost ten years. "It's a frame up restoration of a good low mileage car. A great driver."

George is a 35 year member, and past Director of the Georgian Bay SAGA (Steam and Gas Engine Association). He's a new member of the Huron Pioneer Thresher & Hobby Association, as he has somewhat retired to Auburn. He says that steam shows are good for individuals and great for the community - and we couldn't agree more!

This year's feature tractor is a 1953 McCormick Super W4, owned by Roy & Marion Taylor.

"Here's our story. We're not sure but think it is 15 years that we have owned this tractor. Roy's Dad had one the same but his brother took it for his son; then Roy happened to see an ad in a farm paper & decided we should go check it out! It was in Mitchell & this gentleman had a few different tractors in his shed & asked us if we would be interested in the "M" to go with it as they were always a pair & here we are to this day!"
