Our Old Fashioned Christmas Team would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their incredible support during this Christmas season. From Cookie Decorating with Mrs. Claus and Santa, to the Seniors’ Victorian Christmas Tea Party, and our Christmas Market and Walk through the Park—each event was an overwhelming success, and that is because of all of you.
We are truly grateful to the wonderful choirs and singers who filled the Park with Christmas spirit, the BHS Student Council, Mr. Johnston’s Grade 7 Technical Class, the K–5 students and teachers, Blackville Fire Department, Blackville Foodland, Blackville Home Hardware, the MRV Wellness Committee, Greg Donovan and his team, and all of our dedicated volunteers. We simply could not have done any of this without your generosity, enthusiasm, and hard work.
We have already begun planning for next year and will be meeting monthly. We welcome your ideas, suggestions, and, of course, new members who wish to join us. If you have any Christmas lights you are no longer using, we would be grateful for donations to help brighten our Christmas display in the Park. Just let us know— we would be happy to pick them up.
Although our events have wrapped up for the season, there are still many wonderful Christmas celebrations coming up:
• December 3 – BHS Holly Jolly Jamboree music event
• December 6 – Santa Claus Parade
• December 7 – Once Upon Christmas Dinner and Musical event
-December 13 - Christmas Market at United Church Hall
Thank you, once again, to everyone who helped make this season so special.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 💕
