On behalf of the International Va’a Federation, our member countries, and the wider Va’a Ohana, we extend a huge thank you to all the volunteers and workers at the 2025 World Distance Championships – your hard work and hospitality made this event truly unforgettable. We’ve all fallen in love with Brazil and can’t wait to return! 💛💚

We sadly acknowledge the passing of our dear friend and volunteer, Daniel Cecílio. Our thoughts are with his family, and may he rest in paddling paradise. 🕊️🌊
