We’re stoked to add the atmospheric grooves of Monolord, the punk sludge of MANTAR, the deep doom of Dopelord, the arcade fuzz of SKRAECKOEDLAN, the psychedelic rock of Mondo Drag, the sonic power of Earth Tongue, the late night metal of Early Moods, the occult menace of Fangus , and the post metal of Skin Thief to our bill!

We’re beyond stoked to announce our first headliner for Desertfest Belgium 2026.

Uncle Acid and the deadbeats will be gracing our stage come October.

The brainchild of Kevin Starrs, Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats have been making extraordinary music since 2009. Masterfully echoing the magical atmospheres of heavy music’s turbulent past, while sounding entirely unlike anything else available to human ears. Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats continues to be the deadliest show in town. And they are coming to Liège this fall!

We’re super stoked to announce the official artwork for Desertfest Belgium 2026.

A big shout out to Kuba Sokólski Illustration for taking us to this mystical and mythical place where hot music and cool people meet in the middle of the Desert!

And what’s more Wednesday 22 April at 11:00 CET, we’ll announce our first headliner for Desertfest Belgium in Liège!

And since you have waited for it so long, you’re in for some more sonic treats really soon. Next week we will announce 8 brand new DF Liège names. And drop another 8 names the week after that!

Hi fellow Desertheads

We kick off 2026 with some important and exciting news!

Desertfest Belgium is taking place in Liège this year. The new DF26 venue is called OM - a beautiful building with a great atmosphere, and very easily accessible from the city centre. You can find more info about the venue on our website.

Just to make sure there is no confusion: Desertfest in Liège will be the only Desertfest festival in Belgium in 2026. As always the festival will last 3 days (16-18 october).

We start selling the early bird weekend combi tickets right on our ticket page. They will be available this Monday 12/01 from 11:00 am onwards. As always there is a first come, first served policy for our early bird tickets - so you snooze, you lose!

As the first Desertfesters start to leave the premises, we look back on an absolute gem of an edition. So much great music, so much love and good vibes from our crowd. We'll be buzzing on this for weeks! And then... We start prepping for 2026. Safe travels, you'll hear from us again... Soon.

As we move deep into the Sunday night, the masked freaks come out.
Absolutely nothing could prepare you for the high fantasy insanity that was brought by .rat (1-4). Sword fights, occult chants and metal bra, oh my! That they also rocked some sweet jams was the icing on the cake.
If that didn't zonk you out, the Cthulhu toad masks on (5-7) probably did it. These frogs are made for lickin'!
