A Note Regarding Our Recent Event

We would like to take a moment to address some concerns regarding the rewards for our recent competition. Our goal has always been to maintain full transparency and ensure a positive experience for every participant.

From the very beginning, all official announcements on our social media platforms clearly stated that the rewards would consist of a combination of cash and gift vouchers. This structure was set from the start and remained unchanged throughout the event. We understand that some participants may have expected the total amount to be entirely in cash; however, this was specified in our original communications to avoid any confusion.

While we believe our messaging was consistent, we sincerely apologize if there was any individual misunderstanding. It was never our intention to mislead anyone, and we truly value the trust you place in us.

Regarding the specific rewards:

Winner Feedback: We have personally contacted captains of winning team from each segment. They have expressed that they have no objections regarding the rewards.

Learning Resources: The gift vouchers include access to courses from Ostad, which we carefully selected because they provide high-quality, practical skills that are incredibly beneficial for university students entering the professional world. Moreover, if they purchase their preferred course from the platform, the platform will provide them with various subsequent benefits, including assistance in entering the relevant job market aligned with the course.

We are committed to learning from this experience and improving our communication for future events. Thank you for being a part of our journey.

খুলনা প্রকৌশল ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের (কুয়েট) কেমিক্যাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের আয়োজনে অনুষ্ঠিত National Chemical Fest 2026 এ উল্লেখযোগ্য সাফল্য অর্জন করেছে রাজশাহী প্রকৌশল ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের (রুয়েট) টিম "Fullmetal GSR"। দেশের শীর্ষ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলোকে পরাজিত করে তারা এ শিরোপা অর্জন করে।

গত ২২ ও ২৩ জানুয়ারি দুই দিনব্যাপী আয়োজিত এ জাতীয় প্রতিযোগিতা অনুষ্ঠিত হয় কুয়েট ক্যাম্পাসে। ফেস্টের অন্যতম প্রধান ও প্রযুক্তিনির্ভর পর্ব ছিল Chem-E-Car Competition, যেখানে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হওয়ার গৌরব অর্জন করে রুয়েটের দল “Fullmetal GSR” যা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়টির জন্য এক গৌরবোজ্জ্বল অর্জন।

National Chemical Fest 2026 এ মোট পাঁচটি প্রতিযোগিতামূলক বিভাগ অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল, যার মধ্যে Chem-E-Car Competition ছিল অন্যতম আকর্ষণীয় ও বাস্তবভিত্তিক প্রযুক্তিনির্ভর আয়োজন। এই প্রতিযোগিতায় মোট আটটি দল অংশগ্রহণ করে। নির্ধারিত মানদণ্ড অনুযায়ী কারিগরি দক্ষতা, নকশাগত উৎকর্ষতা, উদ্ভাবনী চিন্তা ও বাস্তবসম্মত সমাধান প্রদর্শনের মাধ্যমে রুয়েটের টিম “Fullmetal GSR” বিচারকদের সর্বোচ্চ মূল্যায়ন অর্জন করে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হওয়ার স্বীকৃতি লাভ করে।

চ্যাম্পিয়ন টিমের সদস্যরা হলেন রুয়েটের কেমিক্যাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের ২০২৩-২৪ শিক্ষাবর্ষের শিক্ষার্থী মো. মুনিম শাহারিয়ার, এজাজুর রহমান রাফি, মো. ফারহান উদ্দিন এবং তাহমিদ আহনাফ তাবিব। একই প্রতিযোগিতায় দ্বিতীয় ও তৃতীয় রানার-আপ হওয়ার কৃতিত্ব অর্জন করে খুলনা প্রকৌশল ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের দুটি দল।

দেশের শীর্ষস্থানীয় প্রকৌশল ও বিজ্ঞানভিত্তিক শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোর অংশগ্রহণে আয়োজিত এ ফেস্টে শিক্ষা, গবেষণা ও উদ্ভাবনের এক মিলনমেলা সৃষ্টি হয়। প্রায় তিন লক্ষাধিক টাকার প্রাইজ মানি ও গিফট ভাউচার সংবলিত এ আয়োজনে বাংলাদেশ প্রকৌশল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (বুয়েট), রাজশাহী প্রকৌশল ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (রুয়েট), খুলনা প্রকৌশল ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (কুয়েট), শাহজালাল বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (সাস্ট), ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (ঢাবি), এআইইউবি, গোপালগঞ্জ বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (জিএসটিইউ), বুটেক্সসহ দেশের বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন। রুয়েটের পক্ষ থেকে এই আয়োজনে ক্লাব পার্টনার হিসেবে যুক্ত ছিল Society of Process Engineers’ RUET (SPER)।

প্রতিযোগিতাটি মূল্যায়ন করেন কুয়েট কেমিক্যাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের সহকারী অধ্যাপক ড. মো. মাহমুদুল হাসান মণ্ডল, প্রভাষক মো. ফয়সাল ফেরদৌস, OSTAD এর মার্কেটিং লিড রুবায়েত আলম এবং সামুদা কেমিক্যাল কমপ্লেক্স লিমিটেডের ব্র্যান্ড ম্যানেজার ইমতিয়াজ ইবনা ইমাম। তাদের পেশাদার ও নিরপেক্ষ মূল্যায়নের মধ্য দিয়েই প্রতিযোগিতার ফলাফল নির্ধারণ করা হয়।

সাফল্য অর্জনের পর চ্যাম্পিয়ন টিমের পক্ষ থেকে প্রতিক্রিয়ায় জানানো হয়,“আলহামদুলিল্লাহ, একটি জাতীয় পর্যায়ের আয়োজনে Chem-E-Car পর্বে রুয়েট কেমিক্যাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগকে প্রতিনিধিত্ব করতে পেরে আমরা গর্বিত। এই অর্জন আমাদের ভবিষ্যৎ কাজের অনুপ্রেরণা হিসেবে কাজ করবে।"

এই সাফল্যের মাধ্যমে National Chemical Fest 2026 এ রুয়েট আবারও প্রমাণ করলো যে, গবেষণা, উদ্ভাবন ও প্রকৌশল শিক্ষায় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়টি জাতীয় পর্যায়ে দৃঢ় অবস্থান বজায় রেখে চলেছে।
