Babar Ali has become the sixth Bangladeshi to conquer Mount Everest, the highest peak on Earth. Additionally, he made history as the first Bangladeshi to summit Mount Lhotse, the world's fourth-highest peak.
A prolific climber, Babar has successfully summited 11 peaks across the Himalayas in Nepal and India since 2014. In 2022, he climbed Ama Dablam, a mountain known for its extreme difficulty, requiring technical expertise in ice climbing, rock climbing, and high-altitude mountaineering.
He shares his inspiring thoughts for runners ahead of the Dhaka International 10K.
