The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the 23rd FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international men's soccer championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026. It will be jointly hosted by sixteen cities—eleven in the United States, three in Mexico, and two in Canada. The tournament will be the first FIFA World Cup to be hosted by three nations, and the first to include 48 teams, an expansion from 32.

The United 2026 bid beat a rival bid by Morocco during a final vote at the 68th FIFA Congress in Moscow. It will be the first men's World Cup since 2002 to be co-hosted by multiple nations. With its past hosting of the 1970 and 1986 tournaments, Mexico will become the first country to host or co-host the men's World Cup three times. The United States previously hosted the men's World Cup in 1994. By contrast, it will be Canada's first time hosting or co-hosting the men's tournament. The event will return to its traditional Northern Hemisphere summer schedule after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar was held in November and December.

As the host nations, Canada, Mexico, and the United States all automatically qualified. Cape Verde, Curaçao, Jordan, and Uzbekistan will all make their World Cup debuts. Argentina is the defending champion, having won its third World Cup title in 2022.

The bidding procedure to host the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups began in January 2009, and national associations had until 2 February 2009 to register their interest.[10] Initially, eleven bids were made for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, but Mexico later withdrew from proceedings,[11][12] and Indonesia's bid was rejected by FIFA in February 2010 after the Indonesian Football Association failed to submit a letter of Indonesian government guarantee to support the bid.[13] Indonesian officials had not ruled out a bid for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, until Qatar took the 2022 cup. During the bidding process, all non-UEFA nations gradually withdrew their 2018 bids, thus guaranteeing that a UEFA nation would host the 2018 cup and thereby making UEFA nations ineligible for the 2022 bid.

In the end, there were five bids for the 2022 FIFA World Cup: Australia, Japan, Qatar, South Korea and the United States. The twenty-two member FIFA Executive Committee convened in Zürich on 2 December 2010 to vote to select the hosts of both tournaments.[14] Two FIFA executive committee members were suspended before the vote in relation to allegations of corruption regarding their votes. The decision to host the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which was graded as having "high operational risk",[16] generated criticism from media commentators. The 2022 FIFA World Cup (Arabic: 2022 كأس العالم لكرة القدم‎, Kaʾs al-ʿālam li-kurat al-qadam 2022) is scheduled to be the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international men's football championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It is scheduled to take place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022. This will be the first World Cup ever to be held in the Arab world and the first in a Muslim-majority country.[1] This will be the second World Cup held entirely in Asia after the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan.[2] In addition, the tournament will be the last to involve 32 teams, with an increase to 48 teams scheduled for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The reigning World Cup champions are France.

দেখেনিন সর্বশেষ ফিফা ঘোষিত র‌্যাংকিংয়ে সেরা দশ দলের তালিকা। ২০০৫ এর পরে এই প্রথম জার্মানি তালিকায় সেরা দশের বাইরে!! 😎😎 আর এমন একটা দল আছে যারা সেরা দশে মাঝে মাঝে চান্দের দেশ থেকে আসে আবার চলে যায়! 😂😂

বাংলাদেশ-ভারত ২০১৫ সিরিজের সময়সূচি:

একটি টেস্ট ও তিনটি ওয়ানডে ম্যাচ খেলতে ৭ জুন বাংলাদেশ সফরে আসছে ভারত। বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ডের পক্ষ থেকে বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করা হয়েছে।

৮ ও ৯ জুন অনুশীলন করবে। ১০ জুন সিরিজের একমাত্র টেস্টে বাংলাদেশের মুখোমুখি হবে। এরপর ১৫, ১৬ ও ১৭ জুন অনুশীলন করবে ভারত দল। ১৮ জুন প্রথম ওয়ানডে ম্যাচে মিরপুর শেরেবাংলা জাতীয় ক্রিকেট স্টেডিয়ামে বাংলাদেশের মুখোমুখি হবে তারা। ১৯ জুন রিজার্ভ ডে হিসেবে রাখা হয়েছে।

২০ জুন ভারত অনুশীলন করবে। ২১ জুন সিরিজের দ্বিতীয় ওয়ানডেতে টাইগারদের মুখোমুখি হবে। ২২ জুন রিজার্ভ ডে। তৃতীয় ওয়ানডের আগে ২৩ জুন ভারত দল অনুশীলন করবে। ২৪ জুন সিরিজের শেষ ওয়ানডে ম্যাচে বাংলাদেশের মুখোমুখি হবে তারা। ২৫ জুন রিজার্ভ ডে হিসেবে রাখা হয়েছে। সবকিছু ঠিকঠাক মতো হলে ২৬ জুন বাংলাদেশ ছাড়বে টিম ইন্ডিয়া।

আজ শনিবার রাতে মুখোমুখি হবে দুই চির প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বী ক্লাব রিয়াল মাদ্রিদ ও বার্সেলোনা।

এবারের লা লিগায় মৌসুমের প্রথম এল ক্লাসিকোতে রিয়ালের মাঠ সান্তিয়াগো বার্ন্যাব্যুতে আজ এই দু’দল মাঠে নামবে বাংলাদেশ সময় রাত ১০টায়।

এর আগে এল ক্ল্যাসিক’র ২২৮ ম্যাচ লড়ে। তবে হেড টু হেড অবশ্য অনেকটা এগিয়ে রিয়ালের। মাদ্রিদিস্তানদের ৯১ জয়ের বিপরীতে কাতালানদের জয় ৮৮টিতে। যার মধ্যে গেলো মৌসুমের কোপা ডেল’র শিরোপা রিয়াল জিতেছে বার্সাকে হারিয়েই। কিন্তু লা লিগায় দুই এল ক্ল্যাসিকোর দুটো জয়ের একটি জয় যে রিয়ালের ঘরের মাঠে জিতেছিলো মেসিরা।

তবে আজকে ম্যাচটি হতে পারে মেসির জন্য শুভ সূচনা। আর একটি গোল করলেই লা লিগায় সর্বোচ্চ গোলদাতা হবার সামনে দাড়িয়ে থাকা রেকর্ড বয়ে আনতে পারবে ভিন গ্রহের ফুটবলার লিওনেল মেসি।

এছাড়া, কাতালানদের শক্তির পালকে যোগ হচ্ছে উরুগুয়াইন তারকা লুইস সুয়ারেজের অভিষেক হওয়া। সঙ্গে আছে ব্রাজিলিয়ান ফরোয়াড নেইমার।
