is proud to support Vanuatu Rising, an upcoming charity event curated by a leading member of our chocolate family, Chef Jessica Pedemont

Vanuatu Rising is dedicated to helping the children and community of the bilingual Suango School, devastated by earthquake. Since December, the school has been operating out of UNICEF tents in the heat, with no sanitation or equipment.

The connection? Vanuatu is a major source of cacao, vanilla and other chocolate-making ingredients. All proceeds from the registered charity dinner - prepared by six top Australian chefs: Jessica, Tommy Prosser (2024 Chef of the Year), Nick Smith (Rising Sun Workshop), Danny Russo and Michael Lewis (Sala Dining), and Nina Huynh (ex-Bentley Group) - will help provide much-needed relief and hope.

📍Location: Kitchen by Mike, Sydney

There’s also a charity auction with amazing prizes.

✨What an incredible weekend we just had! It was a wonderful gathering of 🍫chocolate lovers and makers, and we thank each of you for attending and trusting us to create this experience!

40 exhibitors representing 11 countries made the journey to share their craft and delicious products with us; 4 Wine and Chocolate pairing sessions ran by passionate Finn from and Mike from added another way to experience chocolate; came back again as our Education Sponsor and engaged students who showcased the step by step process of making bean to bar chocolate; a big thank you to our Official Partner who has been supporting us for the second year! And of course a huge thank you to our organising team and volunteers on the day ❤️
We hope this event will serve as an another stepping stone for the bean-to-bar movement in Australia and we thank you again for being part of this journey with us!

We look forward to what’s next!
