Taradale Ball Dance the night away while raising funds for Taradale community programs

Since 2009 the annual Taradale Ball has been the highlight for this small but mighty town in the central highlands area of Victoria. As a fundraiser event for community programs, the Taradale Ball celebrates in colour, style and wild costumes with themes over the years including Red Rumba, Masquerade, Glamour, Carni, Country, Studio 54, Disco, Space Oddity, and most recent, Gold.

This year’s theme, Day of the Dead, is held on the traditional day of celebration - November 1st .. 🧡

A Mexican celebration to honour those no longer earth side. The celebration has roots in the beliefs of groups like the Aztecs, Toltecs, and Nahua people, who saw death as a natural phase in life. Today’s celebration is a vibrant mix of both pre-Hispanic and Catholic traditions.

It will be such a fabulous ball for all, even if you wish to come and see the fabulous costumes, photographers, artists, joy seekers. Aside from Dressing up, the antidote to everything is DANCE.. See you on the Dance Floor 💃
