Returning to this year’s Toowoomba World Environment Day, Rissie brings a reflective blend of piano, guitar, and poetic songwriting inspired by nature, emotion, and the complexities of human experience.

Moving across a range of musical styles and influenced by the natural world, romantic poetry, and the subtle landscapes of emotion, Rissie’s music explores connection, memory, and the delicate human psyche.

Each song is approached as a small love letter to the heart and soul. Welcome back Rissie 🎶

We are absolutely delighted to welcome back the wonderful Women in Harmony Choir to perform at this year’s Toowoomba World Environment Day!

This extraordinary group of women have been part of our event family for more than 18 years, bringing joy, colour, connection, and powerful voices to the stage year after year.

Women in Harmony is Toowoomba’s multicultural and multilingual choir, championing harmony, inclusion, and community through music for 20 years. Across that time, their choir has included members from more than 30 countries and cultures, performing songs in nearly 60 different languages and dialects.

Every year, we forward to the warmth, energy, and spirit these women bring with them. Their performances are always something truly special.

One of our much-loved returning artists for this year’s Toowoomba World Environment Day is the incredible Troy Jason Troutman, and we could not be happier to welcome him back to the stage.

Based in the Lockyer Valley, Troy is a proud advocate for regional artists and a passionate voice for community and culture. Following in the footsteps of his Gomeroi family, his original music carries the stories of Australia with heart, grit, and soul.

Troy first performed at World Environment Day back in 1993, and has long called it one of his favourite gigs because of the people, the purpose, and the atmosphere that surrounds the day.

More than thirty years later, we’re honoured to have him return once again for Toowoomba World Environment Day 2026.

Welcome back, Troy!
