Undercover Open Mic

Hi Everyone,
As 2026 rolls on, all we can say is "what a ride!".
John and I have been a little quiet on here but there has been quite a bit going on behind the scenes. For the next 6 months we are giving Undercover a break because of work commitments and there just isn't time to give the attention needed to keep everything running smoothly.
We have had 12 wonderful months and will revisit sometime around September so stay tuned.
In the meantime all of you wonderful original artists feel free to post your own songs up here so we can all still enjoy them.
Keep writing, keep playing, keep singing, keep learning, loving and laughing. We will see you after September.

We all know that Elephant Bridge Hotel has history of tall tales and wandering ghosties, but this is next level Friday 13th! Tommy! Seems you’re a tad possessed! To be fair it’s quite a good likeness, it was a Friday 13th and you do play like you have 4 hands! You crack us up, love your work!

A huge thankyou to everyone who came along to the Elephant Bridge Hotel last Friday night, what a lovely night we had.
4 amazing original artists, thank you guys for coming along to play, your sets were amazing!
A wonderful venue, terrific hosts and such a beautiful night. Can't wait to do it again in May.
Peterborough House is next so if you would like to play let us know, there are still a couple of spots left.

This Friday night, Friday 13th March we head out to Elephant Bridge Hotel Darlington for the first Undercover of 2026 and are just a bit excited about it.
If you are an original artist, poet or comedian contact us here to secure a spot on Friday night, there are still places available.
This will be a fantastic, intimate space for Undercover so come and say hi, have a meal, have a drink and have a listen.

We are really excited about our first Undercover Open Mic for this year at Elephant Bridge Hotel Darlington on Friday 13th March.
There are still a few places available if you want to come along and play a few original tunes. We would love to see you, busking comedians or spoken word, the stage could be yours.

Hi everyone,
There has been a change in format for our Undercover Open Mic calendar.
This year we will be running the Open Mic every 8 weeks rather than monthly. There are a lot of fantastic shows coming up but unfortunately Camperdown this Friday has been cancelled.
On a huge positive note this means that our first show for 2026 will be at Keayang Maar Winery on Friday 13th March.
After that we will be at Peterborough House on Friday 15th May then at Flagstaff Hill Warrnambool (more details to follow).
We look forward to presenting cracking shows at fantastic venues this year so if you're a singer/songwriter get in touch and let's keep the original music flowing,

Happy New Year to our Undercover family. To the artists we hope the music and stories continue to flow, inspiration is ever present and your musical journey is joyous.
To everyone who supported us in our first year we appreciate you all and are excited to begin our musical foray into 2026 in February.
