This year Tarago & surrounds are hosting its 2nd year of Christmas Light Competition- Light Up Tarago.

🎄✨ LIGHT UP TARAGO & SURROUNDS 2025 – WINNERS ANNOUNCED! ✨🎄

The votes are in and tallied… and wow, what an incredible display of Christmas spirit! 🎅🌟

🎉 Congratulations to our prize winners:

The Tarago & District Christmas Light Competition 2025 is officially open! Time to dust off the lights, check your extension cords, and let your creativity SHINE across our little village and surrounds.

Congratulations to our 2024 Christmas Light Competition Winner- Debbie & Noel at 17 Wallace Street, & very well deserved.

Thank you to our Wonderful judge Anne- you had a very difficult job, we appreciate the time & thought you put into your decision.

Thankyou to Kate Murphy Property & Christmas On Rosebery for sponsoring the event & donating the prize money.

Most importantly to all our entries- we were truely blown away by the standard & amount of entries- this was our first year & the efforts were amazing!

Time to start planning for next year, we already have some ideas in the works, including more categories & a people choice award which will be lots of fun.
