The journey to the Magic Millions Queensland Off The Track Cup Final continues, with the South Australian Qualifier taking place at Mallala Showjumping Club on Sunday, 9 August.

The top two placegetters will secure their place in the Cup Final at Doug Jennings Park on the Gold Coast on Sunday, 10 January 2027 - competing for a share of the $100,000 prize pool, the largest prize pool for an individual retired racehorse class in Australia 🏆

A celebration of the versatility, talent and athleticism of off-the-track Thoroughbreds, the Magic Millions QOTT Cup showcases just how incredible these horses are beyond the racetrack.

After winning the 2025 Magic Millions Queensland Off-The-Track Cup Final aboard Rainbow Man, Makaylah Fenwick is once again Gold Coast bound after taking out the Queensland Off-The-Track Cup Qualifier with The Garret.

Congratulations to Makaylah Fenwick and The Garret on winning the QLD Qualifier for the Magic Millions Queensland Off-The-Track Cup Qualifier at the The Peachester Lodge Team Festival of Showjumping.

By Manhattan Rain and bred by Glentree Downs Pastoral, the 14-year-old Thoroughbred secured his place in the Magic Millions QOTT Cup Final on the Gold Coast in January 2027 with an impressive performance today.

This marks Makaylah’s second journey to the Gold Coast, having won the 2025 Final aboard Rainbow Man. Now, she and The Garret will have the opportunity to chase Magic Millions glory once again.

A huge congratulations to all riders and Thoroughbreds who qualified today. We can’t wait to welcome you to the Gold Coast in January and follow your Road to Magic Millions over the coming months.

Thank you to the FOSJ committee, every rider, owner and supporter who took part in today’s qualifier. Events like these showcase the incredible versatility, athleticism and longevity of the Thoroughbred, while highlighting the importance of meaningful second careers beyond racing.

We love seeing these remarkable horses continue to thrive in new disciplines and inspire the next generation of off the track success stories.

They retired from their first career. Now they’re chasing another dream. The Road to Magic Millions continues.

We caught up with the incredible Lindy Huddy of Peachester Lodge at the Festival of Showjumping ahead of the Magic Millions Queensland Off-The-Track Cup Qualifier.

Soon, Queensland’s Off-The-Track Thoroughbreds will take centre stage as they compete for a place in the Magic Millions Final on the Gold Coast in January 2027.

We’re looking forward to unveiling the 10 horse and rider combinations that will head to the Gold Coast in January.
